  19. Travelling Software (makers of LapLink) have a paper on their faxback
  20. system that says that parallel cables can be a total of 20 feet and
  21. serial cables 100 feet.  I have made a serial null cable (shielded
  22. wire) that is 125 feet long and it appears to work reliably but I
  23. can't say this conclusively as I have only been using it for a very
  24. short time.
